California Show Jumping Star Hap Hansen Signs with Phelps Media Group

Wellington, FL – April 13 - The Phelps Media Group (PMG), a public relations firm based in Wellington, Florida, is pleased to welcome legendary Californian equestrian Hap Hansen as the newest addition to their roster of clients.
Hansen, 52, who resides in Encinitas, California, is one of the most successful and popular show jumping riders in the world. Approaching one hundred career grand prix wins, Hansen is in elite company near the top of the leader board for most lifetime wins. Since 1990, Hansen has posted ninety six wins on twenty-one different horses, with wins coming in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Hansen’s most recent win came on Sunday, April 10, 2005, in the $35, 000 Orange County Register Grand Prix at the Oaks Blenheim Spring Classic in San Juan Capistrano, California. He rode The Horizons East Investment Group’s Double Dutch to victory in just his second career grand prix start.
Hap is a former American Grand Prix Association (AGA) Rider of the Year and the over $2,000,000 he has amassed in prize money during his stellar career puts him among a very elite group of money winners.
