Yvette Lang-Einczig of Healey Stables Wins Los Angeles Senior Medal Finals

Burbank, CA - November 14, 2007 - Karen Healey Stables competed this past week at the National Preview Horse Show at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center. Yvette Lang-Einczig of Malibu, CA, was the champion of the L.A. Senior Medal Finals. Michelle Morris of La Canada, CA, finished in the top ten of the L.A. Junior Medal Finals.

Lang-Einczig rode Jalapeno to the win in the L.A. Senior Medal Finals. The pair was second in the warm-up class. They were third in the first round of the medal finals and won the second round, which gave them the overall win in the class.

Morris rode Rea Silva to a top ten finish in the L.A. Junior Medal Finals. Rea Silva, at just 6-years-old, was competing for the first time in the equitation division. Morris and Rea Silva also finished fourth in the CPHA Foundation medal class, which had 56 entries.

Lauren Kay and Chip Chap finished second in the High Junior/Amateur Jumper Classic, while Samantha Harrison of La Canada rode Santika to fifth place. Kay was the Amateur-Owner Jumper champion with one win in the division. Harrison finished as the champion in the Junior Jumper division after two first place finishes.

Elizabeth Dickinson of Los Angeles finished third in the Low Junior/Amateur Jumper Classic on Fabius 45. They also won a Low Jr/A-O Jumper class. Dickinson changed mounts to her equitation horse, Alexandra Conforti's The Graduate. Together, they placed second in two Equitation 36-50 classes and were reserve champions. Dickinson was also second in both the Foxfield Medal and CPHA Adult Medal classes.

Kristi Siam of Chatsworth, CA, piloted Carmelo to second place in two Adult Amateur 36-50 Hunter classes and finished second in the Modified Amateur Hunters. Katie Hallmark and her new horse Locardi finished third out of 51 entries in the Show Circuit Magazine Children's Medal class.

Assistant trainer Kasey Ament rode Bar X Ranch LLC's Castana 4 to the win in the 1.30m Jumpers. On Santika and Chip Chap, she was fourth and seventh in the 1.40m Jumpers.

Skylar Nelson of Burbank and her pony Macy Grey finished sixth in the Medium division of the West Coast Pony Finals. A new addition to Karen Healey Stables is Ali Berger. Berger rode Granndus to fifth place in the CPHA Children's/Adult Medal class and was second in the Equitation 16-17 over fences class.

Karen Healey Stables competes next at the L.A. National Horse Show on November 14-18, 2007.
