HEART Equine Ambulance 'Sock Hop' Fundraiser Success Secured by Sponsors

Wellington, FL - January 21, 2008 - The outcome of the fundraiser for the Humane Equine Aid and Rapid Transport (HEART) ambulance relies on the generosity of its sponsors, who have contributed numerous goods and services this year. The event will be held on Feb. 15, 2008, at Acorn Hill Farm in Wellington, FL.

Outback Steakhouse is the food sponsor again this year and will provide guests with a delicious array of foods to choose from, from appetizers and salads to chicken and steak entrees. It is an Australian steakhouse restaurant, and although beef and steak items make up a good portion of the menu, the concept offers a variety of chicken, ribs, seafood, and pasta dishes.

The United States Equestrian Team Foundation has donated red and white wine for the event. It is from the Chateau Ste. Michelle Wine Estates, Washington State's oldest and most acclaimed winery that is located outside of Seattle. The USET Foundation was established as a nonprofit organization. Their role is to help provide funding for the High Performance competition, training, coaching, travel and educational needs of America's elite and developing athletes and horses in partnership with the United States Equestrian Federation.

Split Rock Farm is a "Pony" level sponsor at $5,000, and is owned by grand prix rider and trainer Derek Braun. It was established in 1999 and is a hunter and jumper sales and training facility located in Wellington, FL. In the summer, Braun trains out of Maypine Farm in Willoughby Hills, Ohio.

Bombardier Flexjet is another "Pony" sponsor. Owned by Bombardier Aerospace, a world leader in the design and manufacture of aviation products and services, Flexjet is a company that offers fractional ownership options, jet cards and on-demand charter for business jet travelers in North America, bloc hour and ad-hoc charter services in Europe, Asia-Pacific and the Middle-East. The J. Aron Charitable Foundation is a "Twist" level sponsor at $1,000, as are David Lubben and Nancy Kwam.

Another "Twist" sponsor is Jane Forbes Clark, the president and CEO of the USET Foundation.

R. Bruce Duchossois and H n' D Stables has also generously sponsored the event at the "Twist" level. Mr. Duchossois is a Wellington resident, horse enthusiast and owner of several top-level competition horses, including event horses.

In addition to the sponsors, several top-shelf items have been donated for the raffles that will be drawn throughout the night.

Among the prizes are a VIP week at the 2008 Hampton Classic, where the recipient will get a week's worth of passes to the VIP tent and seating area at one of the circuit's most prestigious horse shows and social scenes of the summer. There is also a companion dog package that will be raffled off, which is valued at $1,000.

Acorn Hill Winery, owned by the Sweely Family, has donated a case of the first vintage at a value of $1,500. Opening in the summer of 2008, Acorn Hill is located in Virginia. Keeping in the wine theme, George W. Banks has donated a bottle of wine valued at $1,200.

Local Realtor Martha Jolicoeur has donated a PJ "saddle of choice," and the winner can choose from several designs and styles for what suits the individual's needs. In addition, David Yurman - known as one of the premier jewelry designers in the country - has donated a piece of jewelry. Sam Edelman has donated a pair of shoes.

The fundraiser will be held on Feb. 15, 2008, at Acorn Hill Farm South in Wellington, FL. Themed 50s sock hop, this is HEART's third fundraiser. Led by organization president and grand prix rider Robin Sweely, HEART is a nonprofit organization that services horse shows and the equestrian community with an equine ambulance in case of an emergency or accident.
