Over The Hill Farm Picks Up Seven Tricolors at Jacksonville National II Horse Show

Green Cove Springs, FL - January 28, 2008 - Over the Hill Farm kept on winning in their second week of competition at the Jacksonville National II Horse Show. Led by trainer Bill Schaub of Sanford, FL, riders took seven tricolors and many top classic ribbons.

Larkspur, ridden and owned by Ashley Kennedy Whitner, was the Amateur-Owner Over 35 Hunter champion. They won all four over fences classes and were third under saddle. Larkspur and Whitner also finished second in the Amateur-Owner Hunter Classic. It was a great return to the ring for Whitner, who took last year off of competition to have her son Walker, who is now eight months old.

Assistant trainer Molly Sewell had another great week. She piloted Antique for Alexandra Ware to two championships, in the Special Hunters 2'9" and Special Hunters 3'. Antique won two classes in each division.

On Granus, who is owned by Alison Hecht, Sewell was reserve champion in the Special Hunter 2'6" division. Granus finished first, second, and fifth in the division.

Pony rider Shawn Casady was victorious in the pony divisions once again. He rode Sunny, owned by Bill Schaub, to the Small/Medium Green Pony Hunter championship. Sunny won three classes in the division and was second and fourth in the remaining classes.

In the Medium Pony Hunter division, Casady rode First Impression for Katie Dinan to the championship. First Impression was first, second, second, and third in the division, and the pair also won the Medium Pony Hunter Classic. Casady rode Bill Schaub's Triscuit to second place in the Medium Pony Hunter Classic.

Ashley LeCroy rode Cosmopolitan Girl to first place in the USEF Pony Medal class. Her winning streak continued in the WIHS Pony Medal class.

Elizabeth Porath rode Beau Cheval to second place in the highly competitive $15,000 Children's/Adult Jumper Classic out of a field of 41. Also in the class was Alison Hecht, who rode Celano Ethna to a clear first round and just four faults in the jump-off.

In the hunter ring, Porath guided Hula Hoop to first, second, and fourth place ribbons, which gave her the reserve championship in the Large Junior 16-17 Hunters.

Over The Hill Farm will compete next at the third week of horse shows in North Florida, the Jacksonville National III Horse Show on Jan. 30 to Feb. 3.
