Over The Hill Farm Sweeps Circuit Championships at HITS Ocala

Ocala, FL - March 19, 2008 - Over the Hill Farm, led by trainer Bill Schaub of Sanford, FL, amassed numerous championships this past week at the HITS Ocala Winter Circuit. Four circuit championships, two reserve circuit championships, and seven division tricolors were added to Over The Hill Farm's ever-expanding list of accomplishments.

Lifeline and Shawn Casady earned the top tricolor in the Large Pony Hunter division after the pair won two firsts and two seconds. After a great winter, they were awarded HITS Ocala Circuit Champion for the Large Pony Hunters. Lifeline is owned by Paula Ann Hallman.

Ghiradelli, ridden by Ashley Foster, took champion in the Medium Green Pony Hunters this past week after the young rider guided her pony to three first place finishes. They also won a third, a fourth, and a fifth. Foster and Casady both piloted the pony during the HITS Ocala circuit, and their efforts were recognized with the Medium Green Pony Hunter Circuit Championship.

The Medium Pony Hunter Circuit Championship went to Halo and Ashley Lecroy. This past week Lecroy and Halo earned first place under saddle in the Medium Ponies, and they pinned second, third, sixth, and seventh over fences. They were also the recipients of the reserve championship for the Medium Schooling Pony Hunters after they won first and third place ribbons.

Polar Express took champion in the Large Schooling Pony Hunter division after the pony accrued a first, second, third, and an eighth. Casady showed the pony over fences and owner Alexandra Ware rode Polar Express under saddle. Both Casady and Ware led their mount to win the circuit championship for the Large Schooling Pony Hunter division.

Reserve circuit championships went to Blue Crush and Reid Patton for their accomplishments in the Small Pony division, and Bubbalicious and Casady were awarded reserve circuit champion as well for their consistency in the Small Green Pony Hunters. Bubbalicious is owned by Forest Hills Farm.

During the Ocala Winter Finals, Popstar and Lauren Steiner added another tricolor to the Over The Hill Farm tack room when they won the championship in the Small Schooling Ponies. Additionally, Reveille and Brennan Cooper rode to a first place finish in the Marshall & Sterling Children's Hunter Classic.

In the Beginner Equitation division, Meagan All and Samantha DeRosa tied for the reserve championship. Seven-year-old All rode Sweeter Than Honey and DeRosa piloted Sandman.

Over the Hill Farm will compete next at the Tampa Equestrian Festival on March 26-30.
