Think Smart! HITS to have a SmartPak Delivery Station at HITS Ocala and HITS Thermal

SAUGERTIES, NY (January 9, 2009)--With the winter circuits fast approaching, HITS exhibitors who order their feed and bedding online from the HITS website can also order their equine supplements and medications in daily doses from SmartPak.

For added convenience the supplements can be delivered directly to the SmartPak Delivery Station located on the show grounds of HITS Post Time Farm in Ocala, Florida and HITS Desert Horse Park in Thermal, California.

SmartPak Equine was founded in 1999 with the purpose of simplifying the administration of nutritional supplements and medications for horses. It has been embraced by riders from all disciplines and all levels, including seven Olympic medalists.

"We're really looking forward to working with SmartPak for our 2009 winter circuits," said Tom Struzzieri, HITS President and CEO. "SmartPak has developed an innovative product that is easily customized for each individual horse, providing horsemen with quality and consistency."

"SmartPak offers the ultimate in convenience when traveling and since so many of our customers travel to HITS it made a lot of sense for us to partner with them," said Becky Minard, founder and Vice President of SmartPak. "Exhibitors at both locations can have their SmartPak delivered directly to the SmartPak Delivery Station on the show grounds, where they can also pick up any other mail or packages."

Show jumping at HITS Ocala gets the ball rolling for HITS this winter and begins on Wednesday, January 14 for the first of two unrated weeks of horse shows. After a week off, HITS Ocala will resume with six consecutive weeks of AA-rated competition lasting throughout the winter in the heart of horse country. Equestrian action gets underway at HITS Thermal on Tuesday, January 20 with the first of eight weeks of rated competition and on Wednesday, January 28 HITS Arizona kicks off with six consecutive weeks of show-jumping action.

HITS, Inc. is a special events management company primarily focused on producing hunter/jumper horse shows. Based in upstate New York in the village of Saugerties, HITS produced its first horse show circuit in Gainesville, Florida in 1982. Since that time, HITS has grown into a nationwide company with world-class hunter/jumper circuits in California, Florida, Arizona, New York and Virginia.
