Ocala, FL – February 23, 2007 – At last week’s HITS Ocala Winter Classic horse show, Over the Hill Farm and trainer Bill Schaub had a great week. One of the standout performances came from Katie Hogan of Tampa, FL, on her grey mare, Blew By You.
Hogan and Blew By You raced to double clear rounds to win the $1,500 Marshall and Sterling Children’s Jumper Classic. Hogan was also double clear on her second mount, Black Diamond. In another Low Children’s Jumper class, Blew By You placed second.
This was Hogan’s first show since August, so Schaub was extremely pleased with her performance. “I thought Katie was great. She really got back into her competitive mindset,” he said.
About Blew By You, he remarked, “She is an amazing machine. She’s fast, careful and loves Katie.”
Hogan, along with the other riders of Over the Hill Farm, are competing this week at the HITS Ocala Winter Festival horse show from February 21-25, 2007.
