HorseCity.com 2007 Laptop Contest Selects First Winner

(AUGUSTA, Ga.) When HorseCity.com started its 2007 Laptop Contest
asking, "Where will your new laptop go?" thousands of horse lovers
entered for their chance to find out. Jennifer Swanson of Osteen, Fla.
is the first winner to answer that question!
Swanson is a stay-at-home mom who has been involved with horses for over
20 years. She competed for 12 years in hunter/jumper and dressage.
Swanson has three horses, a Standardbred, Chincoteague pony, and a
Miniature Horse, nestled in her family owned ranch. Although her
daughter, Brittany, is not quite old enough to ride, Swanson has plans
to enjoy riding with her and her husband Shawn in the future. Swanson
heard about the contest through HorseCity.com, which she avidly enjoys.
Her favorite area of interest is the Classifieds.
"Winning was a surprise," Swanson said when asked about the contest. "I
had just gotten home from the hospital after giving birth to our first
baby. When I checked my email, there HorseCity.com was informing me
that I had won the laptop. I'm so excited!"
For 2007, HorseCity.com launched its Laptop Contest after
researching the latest trends in the online horse world. HorseCity.com
found that locations for horse owners to connect to the Internet
continue to multiply. What better way to encourage the use of the
Internet than by providing users with the ability to log on with a new
laptop!
HorseCity.com users simply log on to the site to enter their e-mail
address to start the registration process. A user can sign up once a
month, each month throughout 2007. Unlike previous HorseCity.com
contests, each month the database will be cleared to give entrants a
greater chance of winning. And after many requests from Canadian horse
enthusiasts, HorseCity.com has expanded its contest reach to include
them.

Along with the laptop, other multiple monthly prizes will be given away
including a signed edition of The American Paint Horse: A Photographic

the additional sponsors for the contest and will provide prizes such as
