Cherry Hill to Speak at the Certified Horsemanship Association International Conference

(August 2006) – The 39th Annual Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA) International Conference to be held in Fort Collins, Colorado at the Fort Collins Marriott Hotel and the Colorado State University (CSU) Equine Center is on September 21 - 24, 2006. This event is for riding instructors, barn managers, trainers, horse professionals and general horse owners and enthusiasts. Participants get to ride in sessions on top level CSU show horses if they are full conference attendees. This event is open to the public.
Cherry Hill will be presenting a keynote speech at this event on Friday, September 22nd at noon. She is the author of over 30 books and DVDs on horse training and care including Horsekeeping on a Small Acreage and 101 Arena Exercises. She is a life long horsewoman, was an instructor of university equine courses for 10 years and a horse show judge for over 25 years. She and her husband Richard Klimesh live in Colorado with their five horses. Together they work on books, photos, and videos, the most recent “How to Think Like a Horse”, “Equipping Your Horse Farm” and the DVD “101 Horsekeeping Tips”.
The CHA Conference will also include sessions from Julie Goodnight with Straight Forward Horsemanship, Dr. Temple Grandin author of Animals in Translation and Thinking in Pictures and Steve Bowers with beginner and advanced driving sessions. There will also be mounted workshops, ground lessons and lectures from top instructors, trainers, veterinarians, leather craftsmen, equine chiropractors, saddle fitters and many others. There will be a trail ride in the Rocky Mountain National Park and a visit to see the Terry Bison Ranch in Cheyenne, WY. The entire event is only $345 including most meals.
