Horse-Races.Net Releases Its 2006 Breeders' Cup World Championships

Pickering, Ontario, Canada - Horse-Races.Net, the Internet's oldest
and largest independently operated horse racing information, news,
and links website, today announces the unveiling of its 2006
Breeders' Cup World Championships Contender Profiles at
<http://www.horse-races.net/library/bc06-preview.htm>. Over seventy
of the most likely starters for the 23rd renewal of the Breedersī
Cup, which will be held at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky on
Saturday, November 4, 2006, are listed here. Each Thoroughbred 's
profile page includes a photograph of the horse, links to biographies
of the horse's connections, past performance data, workout tab, and
pedigree information. In the weeks leading to the Breedersī Cup,
these profile pages will be updated with prep race results and injury
reports plus new horses will be added as needed. When the pre-
entries are announced after October 25, Horse-Races.Net will have
every pre-entered horse featured, and the list will be updated again
at the conclusion of the post position draw on Wednesday November 1
to include the correct starting posts and race order.
Horse-Races.Net founder, photographer, and editor Cindy Pierson Dulay
said, "This will be my eleventh year covering the Breedersī Cup and I
try to improve my coverage each year based on what the fans want to
see. As we have since 1998, Horse-Races.Net will also be at the
Breedersī Cup all week with daily coverage including photographs of
morning workouts, media press conferences, and any breaking news
about the Thoroughbreds entered."

media decreasing their coverage of horse racing, casual racing fans
are finding it increasingly difficult to find advance information on
the potential participants of the sportīs year-end Championships. We
are here to serve their needs, as an independent media outlet
