Historic World Premiere Highlights the HorseTV Channel's September Lineup

September’s Schedule Features The Network’s Historic Coverage Of The FEI World Equestrian Games 2006

Calabasas, California - August 23, 2006 Western world championships, a Labor Day marathon and the much-anticipated presentation of The HorseTV Channel’s historic coverage of the 2006 FEI World Equestrian Games headline the network’s September premieres.

“September promises to be a very special month in programming at The HorseTV Channel,” said Rachel Falleroni, Head of Programming for The HorseTV Channel. “In addition to the outstanding premiere lineup, we are pleased to bring our viewers their first look at the most comprehensive coverage of the FEI World Equestrian Games in United States history.”

The FEI World Equestrian Games 2006 series features the world’s top horse and rider combinations competing in all seven disciplines at the ultimate equestrian competition in the world. WEG is held every four years and rarely ever broadcast outside of the European host country, making The HorseTV Channel’s coverage of the entire two weeks of the Games the most comprehensive in United States history. The FEI WEG 2006 series’ world premieres begin with the opening ceremonies on Tuesday, September 12th and span eleven, two-hour episodes airing on Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. with encore performances on Saturdays at 9 p.m.

WEG fans shouldn’t miss The HorseTV Channel’s Labor Day marathon on Monday, September 4th presenting dressage, show jumping, driving and eventing highlights from the 2002 WEG in Jerez, Spain. WEG action begins at 10 a.m. with the grand finale at 7:30 p.m. featuring Spirit of the Equestrian: Chio Aachen previewing the FEI WEG 2006 series.

Tune in for the world premieres of the two- hour AQHA’s Best of the West series as it continues in its second season featuring the NCHA Summer Spectacular 2006 Non-Pro Finals on September 6th, and the AQHYA World Championships Parts I and II on September 13th and September 20th at 8 p.m. Network premieres of classic America’s Horse episodes discussing everything from tips on equine health care, riding and management to news from the American Quarter Horse Industry air in the second hour of the series.

English competition heats up this month as The HorseTV Channel presents the U.S. premiere of the Hickstead Royal International Horse Show – King George V Gold Cup 2006 and the Samsung Super League 2006. The King George V Gold Cup is only open to male riders and is Hickstead’s prestigious finale to the show jumping at the Longines Royal International Horse Show. This exceptional event premieres September 9th at 8 p.m. with an encore on Sunday, September 10th at noon. Don’t miss the 2006 Samsung Super League’s eight competitions airing throughout September at 8 p.m. including the U.S. premiere of the Dublin competition on September 29th. See episodes again on Saturdays at 10 a.m.

Watch for the U.S. premiere episode from the monthly series FEI Equestrian World featuring stories from all eight disciplines airing Friday, September 8th at 9 p.m. Richard Winters Horsemanship continues in network premieres this month presenting Winters’ style of horsemanship grounded in the philosophy of trust, respect and leadership on Thursdays at 6 p.m.
