Jacksonville Winter Series

An FEI World Cup Qualifier is a great way to start a winter circuit. Last night some of the worlds best riders met in Green Cove Springs to compete for the $75,000 and the coveted World Cup points. I saw Gene Mische, George Morris and Hunter Harrison in the stands along with about 3500 other people.

The results were as follows:

Horse Rider

1. Casadora Lauren Hough

2. Rufus Rodrigo Pessoa

3. Ole Mac Cone

4. Vancouver D Auvery Danielle Torano

5. Cedrio Laura Kraut

6. HC Quervo Gold Margie Engle

7. Shandor 41 Patty Stovel

8. Nerina Kent Farrington

9. Polygraaf Bill Lowery

10. Melinda Mac Cone

11. Anthem Laura Kraut

12. McLain Ward Phillipa

It was a great class.

There are three more weeks in Jacksonville. For all sakes and purposes we are sold out but as you know, there are cancelations, if you want to be on a wait list, call 904.284.9492

Janet, McCarroll, Allen Rheinheimer and I are flying over to Gulfport in the morning with Jonathan Rabon, Fred Brown and Phil Gibson to make the final decisions on campers, stalls and vendors. We have more reservations than ever this year. For those of you who have not called and are planning to attend, you must make your reservations very soon. (like Monday). We will be giving the tent man the magic number of stalls to erect and then we could be sold out very soon. Call Tissy 843 768. 5503 if you have any questions about your stall numbers. We do have several trainers, who have had customers send in entries but we have not heard from the trainer her/him self with any other stalls or tack stalls. Like I said, call Tissy ASAP. Campers are close to being sold out too. Its going to be a stellar year in Gulfport. I guess the USHJA $10K Hunter Classic, the added jumper money and adding a second $25K Grand Prix week 5 has attracted more exhibitors.
