Jennifer Alfano Sweeps Two Professional Hunter Divisions at HITS Ocala Winter Festival

Ocala, FL - February 27, 2008 - SBS Farms, based in Buffalo, NY, and run by head trainer Susie Schoellkopf, had a fantastic week in their second show at the HITS Ocala Winter Circuit. Trainer and rider Jennifer Alfano won five hunter tricolors and swept the championship presentations in two divisions.

In the Second Year Green Working Hunters, Alfano and Sting, owned by SBS Farms, were champions. They won two over fences classes in the division. The reserve championship went to Jersey Boy, another SBS Farms-owned entry. He was first, second, and second over fences.

Rock Star, owned by Bright Star 158 LLC, was the champion in the Regular Working Hunters. He won three out of four jumping classes and was third in the remaining over fences class. He added a win in the under saddle class for the top tricolor ribbon. Alfano and Jersey Boy were once again reserve champions. He picked up three second places and a third over fences.

In the Pre-Green Hunters, Alfano was champion in section "B" on Kid Rock, owned by Bright Star 158 LLC. They won two classes and were fourth.

Meredith Lipke Bartolone of Buffalo, NY, was extremely competitive in the Equitation 46 and Over division. She swept all three blue ribbons for the championship. She also rode her two mounts to top ribbons in the Amateur-Owner Over 35 Hunters. In the highly competitive division, she and Churchill finished second, third, and fifth. On Once and Again, she was fourth, fifth, and sixth.

Madison Brayman had a very good week as well. She and Otteridge Gunsmoke were reserve champions in the Pre-Children's Pony Hunters after they finished first, second, second, and fourth in the division. She picked up a third place on Ducks Unlimited in the Medium Green Pony Hunters. In the Short Stirrup Equitation, Brayman won the under saddle and was third and fourth over fences for the reserve championship.

Greer Hindle picked up a third in the Children's 14 & Under Hunters on her mount Dignitary and placed in two classes of the Children's Jumpers on Viper P. Alfano piloted Viper P to a second place finish in the Six-Year-Old Young Jumpers.

SBS Farms will compete next at the HITS Ocala Masters on February 26-March 2.
