Jennifer Alfano of SBS Farms Inc. Takes Home Five Tricolors at HITS Ocala Masters Horse Show

Ocala, FL - March 3, 2008 - SBS Farms Inc., led by trainers Susie Schoellkopf and Jennifer Alfano of Buffalo, NY, had another fantastic week at the HITS Ocala Winter Circuit. Alfano, one of the top hunter riders in the nation, gave another dominating performance at this week's horse show. She took home three championships and two reserve championships in the professional hunters.

For the third week in a row, Rock Star and Alfano were unbeatable in the Regular Working Hunters. Owned by Bright Star 158 LLC, the nine-year-old Warmblood gelding jumped to three wins out of four classes and was second in the under saddle for the championship.

It's been a great start for Rock Star, who finished 2007 with championships at the Devon Horse Show and Pennsylvania National Horse Show. Alfano mentioned, "Right off the bat the first day, he felt awesome. He loves to show, and he's really grown into it. He's like my old faithful now. I can always count on him."

Another consistent winner from SBS Farms is Sting, who finished as the champion in the Second Year Green Working Hunters. He won three out of four classes for the tricolor, and he was also the Green Conformation Hunter reserve champion. In that division, Sting was fourth in the model and under saddle and received a first and three seconds over fences. Also in the Second Year Green division was Jersey Boy, who finished second, third, and fifth.

"They were all so good right from the start," Alfano said. "I didn't do a warm up class or anything. All of the horses marched to the ring, and they hadn't jumped a course since Harrisburg in October. They've just been unbelievable."

In the Pre-Green Hunters, Alfano was champion in the "A" section on Lauren Hough's Abundance. They were first in two over fences classes and were second under saddle. She and Kid Rock finished first and third over fences for the reserve championship.

Madison Brayman was a steady competitor in the green pony hunters. In the medium division, she and Ducks Unlimited placed in the top five in every class, including the model and under saddle. On Otteridge Gunsmoke in the Large division, they finished in the top six in three classes.

Alfano picked up top ribbons in the First Year Green Working Hunters on Magnolia, owned by Bright Star 158 LLC, and Showgirl, owned by Animation.

SBS Farms will compete next at the fourth week of the HITS Ocala Winter Circuit on March 5-9, 2008.
