Jewelry designer Adria de Haume (
http://www.haume.com) has created an exquisite line of equestrian inspired designs. Proceeds from sales will benefit Equine Angels Rescue Sanctuary (E.A.R.S.), the non-profit organization that helps keep exploited horses from slaughter and place them in foster care and eventually permanent adoption (
http://www.foalrescue.com).
The new jewelry collection includes such detailed items as a galloping stallion pendant, silver or gold bracelets highlighting de Haume's signature eternal knot between standing horses, sculpted equine pins and earrings all inspired by horses and equestrians. De Haume has created this line to help raise funds to help rescue horses, primarily weanling and yearling foals, from the PMU or Premarin (a hormone replacement drug made from Pregnant Mare
Urine) industry, of which the foals are a bi-product.
The Premarin mares live on the "pee line," producing a
Constant supply of urine for the drug manufacture while the foals are weaned early and sent to auction where they are most often purchased for slaughter for the global fashion and food markets.
If you would like further information about de Haume's new line of jewelry, go to

The equestrian jewelry can be purchased online and at select stores across the country.
