JT Farm Sweeps Amateur-Owner Hunter Championships at Old Salem Horse Show

North Salem, NY - May 29, 2008 - JT Farm is based in South Salem, NY, and Wellington, FL, and led by trainer Jimmy Toon. They recently competed at two weeks of the Old Salem Horse Show and brought home multiple championships. At the Devon Horse Show "Junior Weekend," junior riders from JT Farm had top finishes in the equitation divisions.

At the first week of the Old Salem Horse Show, Ellen Toon had a great show. She and Invincible, the 2008 CN Winter Equestrian Festival circuit champions, took the championship in the Amateur-Owner Over 35 Hunters. Toon was also the reserve champion on Attache.

Brianne Link of East Islip, NY, had a fantastic week as well. She and Foxcroft Veronsky finished first and second for the reserve championship in the Large Children's Pony Hunters. They won the Marshall and Sterling Children's Pony Hunter Classic. For their top finishes, they were awarded the Best Child Rider on a Pony title.

Madyn Field of Darien, CT, won the Children's Medal class on Twelfth Hour, while Francesca Giammalva was third in the same class on Cayero, a top equitation horse owned by JT Farm. Katie Galbraith of Darien, CT, won good ribbons on Latino in the Low Junior Jumpers at the first week of Old Salem.

In the second week of shows in North Salem, JT Farm once again took the championships in the Amateur-Owner Over 35 Hunter division. Ellen Toon was the champion on Attache, while Dudley MacFarlane of Darien, CT, was the reserve champion on Accolade. In the same division, Lyn Pedersen of Greenwich, CT, finished first and second on Quentin.

Showing for the first time at the Devon Horse Show this past weekend, Katie Galbraith and Carolyn Lichtenberg brought home solid placings. Galbraith was called back in second place after the jumping round in the ASPCA Maclay class and was awarded the fifth place ribbon in the class. She also finished eighth in the WIHS Equitation Classic.

Lichtenberg, of Pelham Manor, NY, had a great round in the Pessoa/USEF Hunt Seat Medal, presented by Becker College. She rode to third place on I-Toon, a championship equitation horse owned by JT Farm.

JT Farm will compete next in the second week of competition at the Devon Horse Show, from May 30-31, 2008.
