JT Farm Wins Two Reserve Championships in Fifth Week of CN Winter Equestrian Festival

Wellington, FL - February 18, 2008 - JT Farm, led by trainer Jimmy Toon of South Salem, NY, had a good week in the fifth installment of the CN Winter Equestrian Festival. They picked up two tricolor ribbons and placings in eleven different divisions, including the equitation, hunters, and jumpers.

Nine-year-old Brianne Link of East Islip, NY, had a great week on her two ponies. She and Foxcroft Veronsky were the reserve champions in the Children's Hunter Pony Large division. They won the first over fences class and were second in another jumping class. On Asgard Mercury, Link was second, sixth, and sixth in the Children's Hunter Pony Medium division. They also finished second and sixth in the Equitation 11 & Under.

Ellen Toon kept her tricolor streak alive when she and the famous In Disguise finished as reserve champions in the Amateur-Owner Over 35 Hunters. They won the $1,000 stake class and were fourth, sixth, seventh, and eighth in the remaining classes for the tricolor.

Carolyn Lichtenberg of Pelham Manor, NY, rode JT Farm's top equitation horse I-Toon to eighth place in the highly competitive USEF Medal class. Joan Ciampi and Alexia, owned by Ellen Toon, were fourth in the Adult Amateur 36-50 Hunters.

Jimmy Toon and Triple X, owned by JT Farm, finished second, fourth, and fourth in the Green Conformation Hunters. Avalon, another JT Farm-owned entry, was third, third, and fifth in the Large Junior 16-17 Hunters with Alexandra Arute.

Giotto and Nicole Christie were seventh in the $1,000 Children's Jumper Time First Round class. Katie Galbraith and The Boss picked up a fourth place in the Large Junior 15 & Under Hunters. Galbraith and Latino were third in the $1,000 Modified Children's Jumper Time First Round class and fourth in the Time First Jump-off class.

JT Farm will compete next week at the sixth week of the CN Winter Equestrian Festival on Feb. 20-24.
