JT Farm Rides to Win and Succeeds at Manchester Classic Horse Show

East Dorset, VT - July 30, 2008 - The riders of JT Farm had another spectacular week competing at the Manchester Classic Horse Show. The show ran from July 23-27, 2008. JT Farm is led by trainer/rider Jimmy Toon. JT Farm has two locations for their training facilities in Wellington, FL and South Salem, NY.

James Toon rode Cayero to a championship in the First Year Green Hunters. They were awarded a first and three second-place ribbons. The pair also were sixth in a Hi-Low Hunter class. Cayero and Francesca Gimmalva were eighth in Equitation 12-14 and seventh in Children's Hunters 14-17.

Carolyn Lichtenberg rode JT Farm's The Boss in several classes and did well. In the WIHS Hunter Phase she was fourth and fifth overall. Lichtenberg was also fifth in the USEF Hunter Seat Medal. She and Avalon, owned by JT Farm, competed in the older Large Junior Hunters and came away with first, second, fourth, sixth and seventh-place ribbons.

Spectacular riding landed Katie Galbraith and her horse Harley in the second-place position in the overall scoring of the WIHS class. They were second in the Hunter Phase and fourth in the Jumper Phase. Galbraith and Harley also picked up a fifth-place ribbon in the Level 2 Jumpers. In the Platinum Performance/USEF Talent Search, she was eighth. Aboard Spock, Galbraith rode to fourth and fifth-place ribbons in the Large Junior Hunters 15 and Under.

My Disguise, owned by Olivia Jack, and Madyn Field were on point last week, receiving some very good ribbons. They were first in a Modified Children's Hunter class. Field was second, second and eighth in the Children's Hunters 13 and Under. For the $500 NAL/WIHS Children's Hunter Classic, she was third. She was also third in Equitation 12-14 on the flat.

Ellen Toon's horse Topaz was champion of the Modified Children's Hunters after winning two second-place ribbons. Topaz was ridden by Mimi Chiquet. Mimi also rode Topaz in the Maiden Equitation division where she picked up a fifth and sixth.

Celeste Mastronardi rode well in her classes. Riding Nina Simons horse La Gala, Mastronardi was seventh in the Maiden Equitation and fourth in the Novice Equitation. In addition, she finished up by receiving two fifth-place ribbons in the Limit Equitation and Children's Hunters 13 and Under. Nicole Christie competed on Black Diamond, owned by JT Farm, and came in eighth in the High Children's Jumpers and ninth in the $1,500 M&S Children's Jumper Classic.

Brianne Link passed down her winning skills to little sister Lainey Link who was first in the competitive leadline class. Brianne Link was also winning over the course of the week. Champion in the Small/Medium Pony Hunters on Asgard Mercury, the pair came away with first, two seconds, and two fourth-place ribbons, second and eighth-place ribbons. They were also second in the $500 M&S Children Hunter Classic and fifth in the M&S League Children's Medal.

Link then moved on to the Large Children's Pony Hunters, where she was reserve champion aboard Foxcroft Veronsky. The pair was awarded first, third, two fourths, and eighth-place ribbons. In the Modified Children's Hunters, they rode to fourth and sixth-place ribbons and came in seventh in the $500 M&S Children's Hunter Classic. She was also seventh in the Equitation 11 and Under. Lastly, Link was reserve champion on her new pony jumper Tallyman in the Low Children's Jumpers, earning a first-place ribbon.

Next week, the riders of JT Farm will show at the fourth week of the Vermont Summer Festival on July 30-August 3, 2008.
