Julie Goodnight Announces International Travel and Clinic Calendar for 2006

PONCHA SPRINGS, Colo. January 1, 2006—Internationally known horse and horsemanship trainer Julie Goodnight travels from Maine to Hawaii in the U.S. and throughout Canada during her 2006 teaching tour. Goodnight’s schedule includes 15 clinics and appearances to work with horses and riders in any riding discipline. Ride with Goodnight or audit a clinic when Goodnight is near you; you’ll learn her kind and clear horsemanship techniques and have the tools to work with your horse at home.

“I love to travel and teach people from all over how to become better riders and leaders for their horses,” Goodnight says. “Traveling gives me an opportunity to work with hundreds of different horse and rider teams each year. That’s satisfying to me and I learn a lot in the process of teaching and meeting new riders.”

In addition to her rigorous clinic schedule, Goodnight also travels to many different horse expos and conferences each year--giving presentations to larger audiences. This year, Goodnight adds to her international travel log with appearances at two Canadian horse fairs. She’s also adding new clinic titles and traveling to new U.S. destinations.

“I’m very excited to present clinics in Ontario and British Columbia,” Goodnight says. “I’m traveling to several new areas, plus I have added some additional fear-management clinics, which are always in high demand. The horse world is really a very small community, even on the international scale and I’ll always enjoy traveling, networking and meeting new people.”

Goodnight conducts horsemanship clinics for all disciplines (English and Western) and all ability levels, at various private and public facilities in North America. Clinics are fun and active, with a focus on bridging natural horsemanship techniques with the principles of classical riding. Goodnight's teachings are focused on finding success and improvement for each and every horse and rider by developing a deeper understanding of the horse and riding skills that lead to a balanced and rhythmic rider and a light and responsive horse.
