World Jumping Champion Jos Lansink of Belgium Gives PB Riding Academy Clinic

WELLINGTON, Fla., Mar. 5--World jumping champion Jos Lansink of Belgium will give two hour-long clinics with eight North American riders on behalf of the Palm Beach Riding Academy at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center on Friday, Mar. 6.
The clinic will be in PBIEC's Ring 7, the first one beginning at 1:30 p.m. and the second at 2:30 p.m. Spectators/auditors are invited to attend at no charge.
Interest in the clinic has been intense and Lansink, who became world champion at the 2006 FEI World Equestrian Games in Aachen, Germany, offered to extend each clinic to a full hour so as to take questions from spectators at the conclusion of the riding portion.
Lansink is visiting the FTI Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington on behalf of CAVALOR, a major European feed and supplements company that has extended the line of products it offers in the U.S.
CAVALOR is making a donation on behalf of Lansink to the Palm Beach Riding Academy that was founded as a non-profit venture by Katherine Bellissimo to assist people interested in riding but who may not be able to afford the sport. The academy draws support from some of the world's top riders who compete at PBIEC.
Riders in the clinic, who were invited based on results in designated WEF classes, are:
CLINIC 1 - Start Time 1:30 pm
Alissa Kinsey, Meghan Abbott, Lisa Zimmer, Samantha Herzog and Ashley Charpentior.
CLINIC 2 - Start Time 2:30 p.m.
Vanessa Robert, Richard Howley and a rider to be determined.
On Saturday, Mar. 7, CAVALOR will sponsor an autograph session with Lansink, giving fans an opportunity to meet and greet the reigning world champion in person.
