Karen Healey Stables Continues Winning Streak at Oaks Blenheim II and III

San Juan Capistrano, CA- June 27- Competition at The Oaks Blenheim June Classic continued on June 15-19 and 22-26, and riders from Karen Healey Stables kept their winning streak alive in the hunter and jumper divisions, as well as the equitation classes.

In week two, Karoline Sauls and Pilot Memori won the Adult Amateur Jumper Classic, while Tasha Traurig and Marble Arch were reserve champions in the Children’s Jumper division. Lauren Hester and her trusty mount, Oxford, were third in the Junior/Amateur-Owner Classic. Hester also placed second in the CPHA Foundation class. Megan Edrick rode Tammy Chipko’s All That to the win in the USEF Adult Medal and was second in the USEF Talent Search class, while Hester was fifth. Caitlin Chapin won the ASPCA Maclay class and finished second in the WCE equitation class.

In week three, Edrick and All That continued their dominance in the equitation classes by winning the USEF Talent Search and the USEF Adult Medal classes and placed second in the CPHA Adult Medal. Hester and her equitation horse, K2, finished second in the Talent Search and in the WCE class. In the Ariat Adult Medal class, Nina Hott and Ladylike also finished up in second place.

Michelle Morris piloted Tammy Chipko’s Helio to a win in the 1.10m jumper class and two second place finishes in the Children’s Jumpers. Morris and Helio finished as champions in the division. Morris also rode Bergerac to a reserve championship in the Small Junior 15 & Under Hunter division. Karoline Sauls was tops in the Adult Amateur Jumpers, as she placed first and second with Campanella and Pilot Memori. Sauls and Campanella ended up with the tricolor in the division.

Two new clients at Karen Healey Stables performed well during week three at The Oaks Blenheim June Classic. Yvette Lang-Einczig and Corland were champions in the Low Amateur-Owner Hunters after winning three classes and placing second in the remaining two classes. Veronica Tracy was second in the CPHA Junior Medal class.

Karen Healey Stables will be at The Oaks Blenheim June Classic for one more week, June 29-July 3.
