The team saw much of their success come from the jumper ring. Stefanie Mazer of Santa Monica, CA, and La Luna won a class in the Adult Amateur Jumpers and tied for the championship in the division. Another championship performance came from Yasmine Abdallat of Thousand Oaks, CA. She rode Team Harmony’s More Glory to first and fifth place ribbons in the Modified Junior/Amateur Jumpers, which gave them the championship. Tiffani Weeda of San Juan Capistrano, CA, and Porsche had a fantastic first show together. They won a 1.10m Jumper class, won a Modified Junior/Amateur-Owner Jumper class and tied for the championship, and finished second in a Children’s Jumper class.

Other top results came from assistant trainer and rider Kasey Ament. Ament and her grand prix mount Uniek were clean in the first round to advance in the 1.40m Jumper Classic, in which they finished ninth.

Veronica Tracy, another San Juan Capistrano resident, rode Hampton Court to first place in the Low Junior/Amateur-Owner Jumpers and fifth in the Classic. Sjapoo and owner/rider Victoria Eseke of Santa Barbara were second in the Modified Junior/Amateur-Owner Jumpers and finished eighth in the Classic. Fred Bauer and new mount Roma-M picked up a second place ribbon in the High Junior/Amateur-Owner Jumper division and fifth in the Classic.

In the equitation ring, Karen Healey Stables took the top four spots overall in the Washington International Horse Show (WIHS) Equitation Classic. First place went to Tracy, second was Shelby Wakeman of Westlake, CA, third went to Alexandra Conforti of La Cañada, and fourth was Hannah Selleck of Thousand Oaks.

In the Equitation 15-17 under saddle, Karen Healey students captured the top five places. Tracy was first, Selleck second, Weeda third, Wakeman fourth, and Morris was fifth. Selleck took the win in the over fences class, while Wakeman was second, Morris third, and Tracy was fifth.

Tina Dilandri of La Jolla, CA, won the Equitation 14 & Under over fences class and was second in the under saddle. A new addition to the Karen Healey Stables team, Navona Gallegos of Santa Fe, NM, finished fourth in the under saddle.

Kristi Siam of Chatsworth, CA, had a successful week in the adult equitation classes. She won the PCHA Adult Medal and was third in both the Foxfield Medal and the CPHA Adult Medal class. Mazer was fourth in the CPHA Adult Medal.
