Kendra Cecieta Joins Phelps Media Group, Inc. International
Equestrian News Release
Wellington, FL- November 15- Phelps Media Group, Inc. International proudly announced a new addition to the PMG staff. Based in Wellington, Florida, PMG is a public relations firm primarily focused on promoting events and people in the equestrian world. Kendra Cecieta joins PMG as an Administrative Assistant with an expertise in marketing. An avid horse lover and show jumper, Cecieta has been involved with horses her entire life.
Cecieta, who grew up just outside of Boston near the Myopia Hunt and Polo Club, has been riding since the age of ten. Having shown in the equitation and jumper rings all over the East Coast, Cecieta encompasses a knowledge of the horse show industry along with an impressive past in marketing.
“We’re thrilled to have Kendra join PMG,” commented PMG President Mason Phelps. “Her marketing background and business experience bring a lot to the table. The company is expanding quickly, with new clients and international coverage. Phelps Media Group, Inc. International is growing day by day in order to accommodate the equestrian world’s needs.”
After earning a degree in Marketing from Salem State College, Cecieta ran her own marketing and promotions company out of Oaks Blenheim in San Juan Capistrano, California. An active member in the community, she has participated with her local Chamber of Commerce, has been a member of several women in business organizations, and has been on the Board of Directors for the Children’s Equitation Center, a non-profit organization in Boston that encourages culture and diversity in the horse world. Cecieta has also trained in public speaking through Toastmasters International.
Phelps Media Group, Inc. International looks forward to working with Cecieta as the company prepares for some major upcoming projects. “We are moving forward constantly,” added Phelps. “We’re launching into 2006 with a really strong team, and we’re moving forward with PhelpsSports.com, a new way to get information out to the world.”
