Three Phase Event and the Kentucky Equestrian Center

The Three Phase Event, is hosting there 3rd national versatility event April 18th and 19th, 2009, at the new Kentucky Equestrian Center (KEC), located in the beautiful rolling hills of central Kentucky. Home to the Three Phase Event for the last two years, the new KEC is ready for leasing for any and all equine activities. As the Three Phase Event has grown, so has the KEC. The facility has a 150 foot x 130 foot lighted, railed arena; a 20 meter x 60 meter railed, lighted dressage ring, with covered judges stand and a 20 meter x 40 meter open dressage ring, unlighted; and 60 foot x 150 multi purpose building with a concrete floor (dirt can be added upon request); The grass stadium obstacle course with five permanent obstacles (which are the bones of the Three Phase Event) is continuing to develop as other obstacles are being readied for this year can be rented for future event and now has a raised, covered judges stand. The beautiful primitive cross country trail system used as our cross country venue is continuing to be developed and will offer a third venue to this developing facility for others looking to rent the facility.

Five barns with 22, 10 x 10 foot stalls each, and two wash areas each are currently available, and a new barn is under construction that will have 18, 12 x 12 ft. stalls and two wash areas, should be available by spring.

A show office building is available to lease with any rental, along with a concrete rest room facility with showers. RV hook ups on grass with 30 amp and 50 amp connection and water, (at this time there is no dump station on the grounds) available for rental, as is space for primitive camping. We are proud to announce that the Three Phase Event national versatility competition has already utilize this growing facility for the last two years, and are excited at the changes that will enhance their event for 2009. The United Mountain Horse Association was the first to use the new lighted arena for their World Championships in late summer of 2008. The organizers of the Three Phase Event are proud to promote this new facility and encourage other breeds and associations that need a new facility to host their events and call the booking office, 859-842-4100, for available dates.
