Ki-Juan Minors to Sing National Anthem to Open Festivities of Challenge of the Americas

Wellington, FL - March 7, 2008 - Phelps Media Group Inc. is proud to announce that its newest client Ki-Juan Minors, the 2008 Equestrian Idol, will kick off the events of the seventh annual Challenge of the Americas on March 8 by singing the National Anthem.

Minors, age 25, is a native of Bermuda and now resides in Wellington. While he works in the equestrian industry, his talents carry over into his incredible vocals and singing ability. He was awarded the title of Equestrian Idol by a panel of judges who placed him above and beyond several other competitors.

In singing the Anthem in conjunction with the Challenge of the Americas, a fundraiser for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, Minors is supporting a cause that is near to his heart.

"I feel extremely privileged to have the opportunity to sing the Anthem for the Challenge," he said. "I have family members who have been affected by breast cancer, and I think it is outstanding that the equestrian industry comes together with an event like this to support research efforts. It's a great opportunity, and I couldn't be happier to be involved."

The Challenge of the Americas will begin at 6 p.m. on March 8 at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center in Wellington, FL. It is a fundraiser to benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. There will be incredible displays of both grand prix show jumping with a High Jump competition and grand prix dressage with Musical Quadrilles.
