WELLINGTON, Fla., Apr. 5-- The final Amateur-Owner 36 & Over Stakes was won by Lee Kellogg-Sadrian and Sterling. at the CN Winter Equestrian Festival presented by Zimmerman Advertising at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center Saturday

Sadrian, of New York and the nine-year-old gray gelding started back together at WEF after a year off for Sadrian. The pair ride with trainers Jennifer and Rolf Baursachs of Frenchtown, N.J. This is the third season for the pair at WEF.

"I think he is great," Lee said. "He just packs me around. He's a saint. Nothing phases him which is nice. He is a wonderful horse."

The division finished with champion and reserve honors for the final week of WEF.

The champion ribbon was awarded to Katie Jacobs- Robinson of East Aurora, N.Y. and her seven-year-old bay gelding, So You Say. The pair ride with trainer Geoff Teall of Wellington. Robinson and her mount placed second in the initial trip on Saturday and second in the stakes class, adding to their first and second in the two over fences classes on Friday.

Robinson bought So You Say one year ago and the pair recently moved up to this division from the Adult Hunters. In the four weeks they've shown at WEF, this will be their second champion ribbon.

"He is my perfect match and just a treat to ride," Katie said. "Every time we go it gets easier and easier."

Reserve honors went to Stormy Good of New York and her eight-year-old bay mare, Saline. Good and Saline ride with trainers Charlie Weever and Jenny Dunion of Bridgehampton, N.Y.

Good bought Saline three years ago and they have been competing in this division since. Saturday marks the first reserve ribbon for the pair at WEF in 2008 though they have pinned consistently including winning a stakes class and second in the International Arena during World Hunter week.

"She went great today we did seven shows so she is a little tired," Stormy said. "She has a big stride and a big heart. We are all lucky to have her."

"It is a nice note to end on for circuit," said trainer Jenny Dunion.
