Premiering this year at the Rocky Mountain Horse Expo will be the Legends of Ranching Performance Horse Sale, March 11, featuring two-year-old fillies and geldings started by the CSU Equine Sciences program, plus premium finished using horses. Consignors represent the best in remuda bloodlines and training: Bartlett Ranch Wyoming, Burnett Ranches (6666), R.A. Brown Ranch, DLR Ranch, Gibs Performance Horses, Johnny T.L. Jones, Major Cattle Co., Frank Merrill, Pitchfork Ranch, Round Mountain Ranch, Royal Vista Equine, Shellbird Inc./Rising Hearts Ranch, T Cross Ranches, Tongue River Ranch, TSR Quarter Horses, Waggoner Ranch, Wagonhound Land & Livestock, and Valley Oak Ranch. Prior to the sale, a competition will be held to showcase the Legends of Ranching finished horses to be auctioned.
