Lexington Course Designer Takes On New Role

The Rolex Kentucky Three Day Event cross-country course designer, Mike Etherington-Smith, has begun a new role as the Director of Sport for British Eventing. Etherington-Smith has been involved the sport for many years as a rider and later as a course designer. He will honor his contractual commitments for 2007 which includes Event Director at Blenheim Horse Trials and thereafter, with the exception of course designer at Chatsworth CIC, England will step down from his various roles at events in the UK. He will continue as course designer in Hong Kong for the 2008 Olympic Games and the Rolex Kentucky Three Day Event.
