Casting Call for “Mr. Romance” on Oxygen Television Network

Hollywood, CA- July 12- Phelps Media Group, Inc. is currently sending out a casting call to all male equestrians for the hit reality show, “Mr. Romance,” on the Oxygen Television Network. Mr. Romance is a fun, comedy-style reality show with a lot of heart and a big sense of humor. If you play polo, jump horses, or rope cows, the Oxygen network is interested in receiving your application for their exciting romance competition.
Casting is currently in its second season and will feature new and exciting additions, including weekly challenges and eliminations. Men from across the country will enroll in Oxygen’s Romance Academy, where experts will teach them everything there is to know about becoming the man of every woman’s fantasies.
The top ten students from the Academy will go on to compete in a televised pageant, where one man will be crowned Mr. Romance. The winner will be awarded a minimum of $50,000 and given a role in an Oxygen Network Original Movie.
Applicants must be males who are willing to compete for the affection of women, and must be attractive, outgoing, charming, energetic, in great physical shape, comfortable on camera, and possess a healthy level of competitiveness. Men can be between the ages of 21 and 45 and can be married or single. Applicants must also be a resident of the United States.
Taping for the show will be in October, so applicants must be available for three weeks. Accepted applicants will receive a daily stipend and paid travel expenses, as well as living expenses paid during the time that they are at taping.
If you’re an equestrian and think you’ve got what it takes to become Oxygen’s next Mr. Romance, send an e-mail to jlw@phelpsmediagroup.com. Please include your name, phone number, age, height, occupation, and at least one photograph (either attached or in the body of the e-mail). If you are a model or an actor, please provide a detailed list of the paid acting/modeling work you have done and how you are currently employed.
The deadline for applications is August 5, so send your information as soon as possible!
