Western and English Riding Demonstrations among the
Many Activities to be filmed for The Saddle Club™ TV series.
TORONTO—May 24, 2007—The Saddle Club television series production team will join the 6th Annual National Horse Week Celebration at the Western Riding Club “Open House” at Blacks Equine Centre (Sunday, June 3) in Hannon, Ontario. The team will be filming riding demonstrations, interviews with trainers and competitors and highlights of the events for The Saddle Club Video Journals that are broadcast on public television in the US.
“We are delighted to celebrate Horse Week in Canada with the Western Riding Club, the trainers, competitors and the public,” said Karin Lippert of Protocol Entertainment. “We are always happy to feature real kids – those who love to ride and those who want to learn about horses – in our SC Video Journals.” The Saddle Club TV series is based on the popular books by Bonnie Bryant. The SC Video Journals were created for public television stations in the US – to promote equestrian sports, literacy and to celebrate an active lifestyle.
“This is a special week in Canada, and we are proud to have a young reporter for Blaze News joining us to cover this event,” said Lippert. Blaze, the magazine for horse-crazy kids, along with The US Equestrian Federation, Inc., The US Pony Clubs, Inc., has been an important outreach and education partner for The Saddle Club television series. The TV series is co-produced by Crawford Productions Pty Ltd (Australia) and Protocol Entertainment, Inc. (Canada).
