North American Thoroughbred Society Announces 2008 Winners of USDF All Breeds Award Program

MADISON, NJ, Nov 4, 2008 – The North American Thoroughbred Society (NATBS), a company that promotes the interests of Jockey Club-registered North American Thoroughbreds, today congratulated the winners of its United States Dressage Federation (USDF) All Breeds Program for 2008. Awards are presented to NATBS member Thoroughbreds, and their riders, who participate across the full range of dressage categories.

Winners in 2008 include: Training Level Adult Amateur: Tank Force, ridden and owned by Jennifer Hankins-Brown, 68.400%; Mary Lou, ridden and owned by Alyssa Boender, 68.000%; Denim Truce, ridden and owned by Denise Kash, 60.357%. Training Level Open: Polynesian Dancer, ridden by Morgan Barrows and owned by Laura Rising, 70.000%; Tank Force, ridden and owned by Jennifer Hankins-Brown, 68.400%; Mary Lou, ridden and owned by Alyssa Boender, 68.000%; Return Receipt, ridden and owned by Darcy Miller-Brown, 65.400%; Everett, ridden by Mary Grace and owned by Abigail Rodriguez, 64.807%; Denim Truce, ridden and owned by Denise Kash, 60.357%. Training Level Vintage Cup: ridden by Mary Grace and owned by Abigail Rodriguez, 64.807%. First Level Adult Amateur: Clever Tryst, owned and ridden by Timi Ferry, 65.667%. First Level Open: Clever Tryst, owned and ridden by Timi Ferry, 65.667; Drambuie, owned by Laura Armock and ridden by Jennifer Meyering, 62.105%; But Your Honor, ridden by Katie Pell and co-owned by Dr. Carla Pasteur and Marion Thomas Pasteur, 60.278%. Intermediare I: The Roman Knows, owned and ridden by Cynthia Scopac, 60.250%.

“We are thrilled to present awards to these competitors whose achievements clearly demonstrate their commitment to the sport,” said Anita Adamski, founder and chief executive officer of NATBS. “We congratulate each and every one and are proud to count them as members of NATBS.”

NATBS recognizes the achievements of Thoroughbreds, supports Thoroughbred breed classes, and fosters community for members for choosing Thoroughbreds as their valued sport and recreational horses.
