Karen Healey Stables Enjoys Victory at First Week of Oaks Blenheim June Classic

San Juan Capistrano, CA - June 13, 2007 - At the scenic grounds of The Oaks Blenheim horse show, the riders from Karen Healey Stables accumulated prize after prize at the Oaks Blenheim June Classic I Horse Show on June 6-10, 2007. One of the most successful riders last week was Jocelyn Neff of Newport Beach, CA. Neff picked up ribbons in the big equitation classes, hunters and jumpers this week.

Neff won the Equitation 14 & Under over fences classes. She placed second in the WIHS Hunter phase, the USEF Junior Medal and the ASPCA Maclay. On Only Blue, she was second in the Modified Junior/Amateur Hunters. Trainer/rider Kasey Ament also rode Only Blue to blue ribbons in the Modified Open Hunters. Neff made the transition to jumpers when she piloted Milano to fourth place in the Modified Junior/Amateur Jumper Classic. On her pony Cinnamon Twist, Neff was the star in the Low Children's/Adult Jumpers. They finished as champions in the division.

Karen Healey Stables dominated the Washington International Horse Show Equitation Classic. In addition to Neff's ribbon, the overall winner was Michelle Morris of La Canada, CA. The winner of the jumper phase and second overall was Tina Dilandri of La Jolla, CA. San Juan Capistrano residents Veronica Tracy and Tiffani Weeda placed fourth and fifth respectively.

In the USEF Junior Medal, Weeda was third. She picked up fourth place in the USEF Show Jumping Talent Search class, while Tracy finished third.

Los Gatos resident Lindsay Ramar continued her supremacy in the High Junior/Amateur Jumpers with Vallarta, who won in the division and picked up the championship. They finished second in the $5,000 High Junior/Amateur Jumper Classic. Fellow Karen Healey student Shelby Wakeman of Westlake Village rode Punker to first place in the division as well.

Katie Gardner of Westlake Village, CA, finished sixth in the Low Junior/Amateur Jumper Classic on her new horse, Action 6.

Karen Healey Stables will compete next at the second week of the Oaks Blenheim June Classic.
