Our Horses, Our Art Gains New Sponsors

New England Dressage Association and Sheffield Pottery

Will Sponsor Reception to Meet Artists, Sample Wines and Chocolates

Northampton, MA—July 11, 2007—Massachusetts Horse magazine is pleased to announce that the opening reception for its second annual Our Horses, Our Art exhibition of equestrian art, will be co-sponsored by the New England Dressage Association and Sheffield Pottery. The reception, Monday evening, July 23, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., will feature delicate pairings of wines and organic chocolates and cheesecakes generously provided by Province Imports, Ltd., and Unbridled Chocolates.

Our Horses, Our Art is presented by Massachusetts Horse magazine as a benefit for the Massachusetts 4-H Foundation and to celebrate the talents of area artists and craftspeople.

Sheffield Pottery (http://www.sheffield-pottery.com) has been providing ceramic supplies for artists, craftsmen, schools and industry since 1946, as well as commemorative pottery and awards for events including the Connecticut Morgan Horse Show, and premium indoor riding arena base, topping, footing, and horse stall clay in the Tri-State Region.

The mission of the New England Dressage Association (http://www.neda.org) is to promote and support the art and sport of dressage to the equestrian community for the purpose of fostering individual and collective growth by providing leadership, education, exhibitions, publications, competitions, and to enhance greater public awareness, understanding, and appreciation for dressage.

Our Horses, Our Art will run Sunday, July 22 through Saturday, July 28, at Skera Contemporary Crafts, 221 Main Street, in Northampton, Massachusetts. It is concurrent with another Northampton equestrian tradition, the New England Morgan Region 1 Championship Horse Show, now in its 68th year at the historic Three County Fairgrounds.
