Stay Dry with Outback Trading Company’s Exclusive Nylon Packables

Simply Roll, Pack and Go with Convenient, Protective Raingear

Oxford, PA (March 28, 2006) -- As spring’s wet, muddy season peaks just around the corner, Outback Trading Company recommends their exclusive nylon packables. These garments offer ultimate convenience with their ability to roll into a built-in backpack or pocket to go anywhere, anytime. Both men and women can easily stay protected from unexpected showers with Outback’s nylon backpackable parka, duster and rainpant.

Made of polyester rip-stop nylon with a DWR finish, this line of waterproof raingear is incredibly durable and practical. Ideal for urban or suburban travel, packables can easily be carried in a briefcase, suitcase, golfbag or saddlebag. All garments are machine washable and available in black, gold, navy, red and taupe. They are available for men and women and range in sizes from XS-XXL.

“Outback’s intention with these packable products was to hone in on simplicity and ease for our active customers,” said Wilson King, president of Outback Trading Company. “Most people do not have room to pack anything extra, like raingear. However, with these high-performance garments people can have protection while having extra space in their suitcases.”

When spring is in the air, it is not unusual for the skies to open one second and the sun to be shining the next. The nylon backpackable duster and parka are the perfect answers -- simply unzip from their built-in backpacks, shake out and stay dry. Both items feature a zipper plus storm panel front closures, adjustable velcro cuffs and zippered side pockets. For added protection, a stowaway hood can be drawn tightly around the head with its lockable elastic drawcord. And, for a more fashionable silhouette, each jacket sports a drawstring waist. The full-length duster features a center back gusset, while the parka has snap open rear gussets.

The nylon packable rainpant is offered in a range of colors to coordinate with the parka and duster. This waterproof pant features an elastic waist that is drawstring adjustable. It also sports a mesh-lining throughout and has a wide leg opening that fits over most footwear. In addition, there are bottom snaps for the option of a closer fit around the ankle. These pants are ideal to slip on over breeches or jeans while trying to remain dry and clean at a horse show or around the barn. And, they roll into their own built-in pocket.
