Phelps Media Group, Inc. International Welcomes New Photographer Susan Stickle

Wellington, FL- September 12- Phelps Media Group, Inc. International is pleased to announce Susan Stickle of Maplewood, New Jersey as their newest staff member and photographer. Stickle will be PMG’s official dressage photographer for the 2005 National Horse Show and Family Festival, which will take place at the Palm Beach Polo Equestrian Club in Wellington, Florida from November 30-December 4. She will continue as the official photographer for the dressage competitions during the 2006 Winter Equestrian Festival, also held at the Palm Beach Polo Equestrian Club.
Stickle began shooting photographs professionally in 1995, covering local, regional, and national dressage championships. An award winning photographer, she has published her work in such magazines as Dressage Today, USA Equestrian, The Chronicle of the Horse, HorseSport USA, Horse Sport (Canada), and numerous other publications.
Her work has also appeared in calendars and on book covers, and her print of the World Trade Center Tribute in Lights hangs in the United States Customs Department Headquarters in Washington, D.C. She created her own photography business, Hoof Prints, in 1995 as well.
Based in New Jersey during the summer, Stickle covers over sixteen dressage shows a year. This year she photographed the USEF Grand Prix/Intermediare I Championships, Challenge of the Americas, BLM Dressage Championships, and the Orlando Dressage Shows. In 2004, Stickle captured the USDF Region 1 Championships,CDI***Allentown, BLM Championships, and the Orlando Dressage Shows into her collection.
Stickle encompasses a knowledge of the dressage sport because she rode competitively with her chestnut Thoroughbred mare, Bonnie. The pair was High Score Champions at Training Level in New Jersey and went on to compete through the lower levels. Her love of horses and knowledge of dressage have contributed to her wonderfully keen eye, and Stickle’s passion for the sport surfaces in her work.
“I am thrilled to be a part of the PMG team!” she exclaimed. “I am a self taught photographer and bought my first camera with my first "real" paycheck. I have been photographing horses and landscapes ever since. It is an honor to join PMG with the skills I have developed simply by doing what I love.”
