Phelps Media Group Signs Junior Talent Christy Russo

Wellington, FL – December 5, 2005- Today Phelps Media Group, Inc. International (PMG), an equestrian related public relations firm based in Wellington, Florida, announced the signing of Christy Russo to the PMG client roster. Russo, who resides in Miami, Florida, is currently one of our nation’s top junior hunter competitors. She is busy preparing for the Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF), which will be held from January 25 through March 19, 2006 at Palm Beach Polo Equestrian Club in Wellington, Florida.

The 15 year old rising star has amassed five WEF circuit championships and will be one of the most competitive riders in the upcoming season. She began riding when she was just three year old and has been in the winner’s circle ever since. In 2001, Russo began training with Ken and Emily Smith of Wellington, Florida. Russo will show her two horses, Miracle and Westcliffe, in the Junior Hunter division at some of the nation’s most prestigious horse shows.
“Junior hunters are definitely challenging,” reported Russo during an interview. “Everybody has nice horses and everybody is a really good rider. My goal is to be circuit champion on Miracle this upcoming year, if I can. I’d like to start improving more on her.”
Entering her eleventh year of competition at the Winter Equestrian Festival, the young equestrian, along with Miracle and Westcliffe, will be one of the top competitors in the hunter arena in the 2006.
