Phelps Media Group, Inc. International Welcomes Foncine Wood to Writing Staff

Wellington, FL- December 20, 2005- Phelps Media Group, Inc. International (PMG) is pleased to announce that Foncine Wood of Orange Park, Florida is joining their ever-expanding staff. Wood brings an expansive wealth of knowledge in marketing, sales, computer skills, and business writing to PMG.
Wood has earned an Associates degree and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and has her Master of Science degree in Management from National Lewis University.
Wood worked for AT&T and Lucent Technologies for twenty years and was involved in software development, marketing programs, and sales. She developed ad brochures, ad campaigns, and press releases for the communications giant, and she received several awards for marketing communications. Wood was responsible for over $16 million in sales annually for Lucent Technologies.
In addition to an extensive background in marketing, Wood also has years of experience in the equestrian industry. “I was an active horse show mom for many, many years,” Wood stated with a smile. In addition to attending hundreds of horse shows throughout the years, Wood also helped with the management of several smaller shows and was an announcer.
Currently, she organizes and executes an annual fundraising golf tournament for Hearts, Hands & Hooves charity, a local therapeutic riding program for challenged youth. Her work with the charity raises over $35,000 annually.
Wood will be an integral part of the PMG team by reporting for clients competing at the Jacksonville Winter Circuit. “Phelps Media Group, Inc. International will have representatives at over 60 equestrian events around the world this year,” reported PMG President Mason Phelps, Jr. “We feel it is very important to have someone from PMG at these events. Foncine will allow us to report directly from the Jacksonville circuit on our clients. We’re very pleased to have her join us, and I think she will be a great addition.”
