Ride From Mexico to Canada with Cavallo!

From the Outer Banks of North Carolina to the Alaskan wilderness, the Best of America by Horseback series showcases the beauty of America by horseback each week. Travel along with television show host Tom Seay and participating riders on this exciting transcontinental horseback ride which will take viewers on a scenic cross country journey from Mexico to Canada.

“As the official Pad & Boot sponsor of this adventurous trek we are proud that some of the horses on this journey will travel through the country with comfort and confidence in Cavallo Hoof Boots and Saddle Pads” says Carole Herder, President of Cavallo Horse & Rider.

Cavallo will provide the Total Comfort System (TCS) saddle pads which absorb shock for both horse and rider, improve saddle fit and increase comfort. Simple Hoof Boots will also be available for this enduring ride in the case of thrown shoes, therapeutic treatments, as a replacement to metal shoes and to assure that the horses in them are afforded the greatest ease of travel: surefootedness on every terrain during this vast excursion.

Overall the route will be around 1800 miles long and expected to take riders approximately 21 weeks; riding three to four days and resting one to two. "Core" riders plan to ride the entire trip giving continuity to the ride.

On route at various locations there will be events and activities to meet with Tom Seay and the riders.

The scheduled ride route of the Mexico to Canada journey is available for viewing at the Best of America by Horseback website: http://www.bestofamericabyhorseback.com/images/MCTR_daily_route.pdf

Monty Roberts, known as The Man Who Listens to Horses, is a fan of Cavallo saddle pads. Says Monty, "The Cavallo Total comfort System Saddle Pads help your horse increase his movement around the shoulder. The gullet system allows your horse to lift his spine and use himself properly while taking pressure off the withers. This unique memory foam sandwich helps your saddle fit better. Cavallo pads are the best pads in the world today. Watch your horse's scapula smile."
