Ride! Magazine and Western Times, two premier West Coast horse magazines--one English-discipline based and the other western--have joined forces to become one larger magazine. The new magazine is aptly-named "Ride! & Western Times."
Ride! & Western Times features the best of the English and western worlds, as well as everything horsey in between. It offers readers a wide variety of equine-related articles on a wealth of subjects, including horsemanship, jumping, dressage, eventing, endurance, cutting, reining, barns & arenas, trucks & trailers, horse breeds, and stallions & breeding.
In addition, the magazine's regular columnists cover informative topics such as health, trail-riding, horsemanship, barrel-racing, and legal information. And, of course, the new magazine continues to feature the ever-popular Mane Mare horse advice columnist, JW Equine (a distant cousin to Ann Landers' horse, perhaps?), who answers equines' very own questions.
All this, and Ride! & Western Times is free! Pick up a copy at your local West Coast feed and tack stores, as well as at horse shows, horse expos, and other great places where horse folks like to mingle.
