The distance between Mountains won't feel so high for the Rocky Mountain
Equestrian community when HorseContacts.com debuts its official launch in
October of 2007.
The mission of HorseContacts.com is to provide an online community where
equine enthusiasts can connect and share a common passion. It is the goal of
HorseContacts.com to make an equestrian passion an everyday experience.
HorseContacts.com is a comprehensive website that provides a one stop shop
for all horse related needs. This will include everything from buying and
selling horses, locating boarding facilities, finding a farrier, finding
stallions within the area and of course being able to locate those ever
difficult to find horse events and much, much more.
HorseContacts.com provides free business listings, classified ads, event
calendar, news and articles with enhanced services for members and numerous
advertising opportunities for equine businesses.
In order to kick things off, a promotional window will be offered to all
HorseContacts.com users. All business directory text listings, event
listings and photo classified ads will be free during the promotional
launch.
During this promotional window, HorseContacts.com will be offering an
opportunity to win a $100 gift certificate. Just register you business,
enter in your event or create any classified ad by December 31st, 2007 and
you will be entered to win.
The website services the equine industry in the Rocky Mountain States of
Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, Idaho and Montana. It is one of the largest online
equestrian communities in the region with over 5,000 businesses included in
the directory.
The primary role of the site is to create a connective tissue between horse
enthusiasts looking for equine products and services and those businesses
trying to connect with their equine consumer.
HorseContacts.com was originally launched in 2000 and was purchased by the
current owners in March of 2007. The owners, who live in Colorado, have the
perfect Ying/Yang relationship. One is incredibly passionate about horses
having ridden and actively shown since she was five and the other incredibly
knowledgeable and savvy about the technical side of web development having
been on the IT side of the business for over ten years.
Since the purchase, the site has undergone a dramatic face lift.
Enhancements have been made to user functionality and the overall look of
the site as well as developing content that has relevant information for the
equine enthusiast.
As part of the enhancements to the site, a partnership has been formed
between HorseContacts.com and the Equestrian Network. HorseContacts.com is a
full sister site to the popular Bay Area Equestrian Network,
http://www.bayequest.com. The Equestrian Network has a proven formula for success
in connecting equine consumers and equine businesses. They own nine other
regional websites throughout twenty-one states. HorseContacts.com is honored
