TORONTO – October 3, 2007 – There’s good news for fans of The Saddle Club™ TV series. Allumination FilmWorks, Inc. has recently released “Horse of a Different Color” and “Storm at Pine Hollow,” two full-length films on DVD from the hit TV series based on the best-selling books by Bonnie Bryant.

“Audiences all over the world have enthusiastically embraced this popular television series,” said Kerry McCluggage, Chairman of Allumination FIlmWorks, “We are proud to be the North American home entertainment partner for the ongoing adventures of Lisa, Carole and Stevie – the girls who formed the Saddle Club at Pine Hollow Stables.”

The Saddle Club™ TV series follows the adventures of Lisa, Carole, Stevie and their favorite horses. The girls face real-life challenges in the series and in the new Allumination films. The Saddle Club members are bound to each other by their friendship and love of horses. Their motto is always: “Together, we can do anything.”

“The Saddle Club™ is an exciting franchise to promote,” commented Cheryl Freeman, CEO and president of Alllumination FilmWorks. “There are very few properties that address the tween girl market in a real-life way. Lisa, Carole and Stevie are often faced with tough decisions and their solutions are solid choices that young girls can learn from. Our retail promotion partners are as excited about this property as we are.”

The new releases are available at major retail outlets in the U.S. and Canada.

Allumination Filmworks is developing promotion programs with a range of partners, including public television stations carrying the TV series. One of the most successful launches in the history of APT, The Saddle Club™ is now seen on over 350 stations in the U.S.

The Saddle Club™ - Volume One: Horse of a Different Color

A valuable show horse, transported from France, arrives at Pine Hollow, the horse’s mysterious owner to arrive later. Amidst all the excitement, Carol begins to believe that her friends in the Saddle Club have forgotten her birthday. When the champion event horse (Hugo) escapes Carole, Stevie & Lisa take it upon themselves to help find him. The girls do find Hugo, unveil their surprise birthday party for Carole, and learn that the horse’s owner is none other than French dressage champion, Dorotheé Doutey. Six months ago she fell in competition breaking her pelvis, but more importantly, breaking her self-confidence and shattering her relationship with horses and Hugo. Dorotheé becomes the riding instructor at Pine Hollow, but the lessons she learns from the Saddle Club girls heal her emotional wounds.

The Saddle Club™ - Volume Two: Storm at Pine Hollow

Lisa takes a beautiful, but violent, foster horse named Storm to be rehabilitated at Pine Hollow. Storm has been abused and, having not responded to previous training, is scheduled to be put down. Stevie and Carole notice that Drew seems more than preoccupied with Pine Hollow operations, but are even more concerned that Lisa is heading for an emotional fall if efforts to re-train Storm are unsuccessful. When Stevie & Carole are cleaning up Drew’s office they discover the source of his concern: bank loans are due and Pine Hollow is in deep financial straits. With the banker demanding payment, Red decides to sell the surrounding land and riding trails. The Saddle Club girls must help save Pine Hollow and the magnificent horse, Storm.
