Sanctuary Equine Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation Center opens its doors for a special party

SAUGERTIES, NY (January 21, 2009)--HITS Post Time Farm will not be the only place jumping in Ocala this week. The social calendar gets into full swing with a special off-site exhibitor party on Friday, January 23, from 5 pm to 8 pm during The Sanctuary Equine Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation Center Exhibitor Party.

Exhibitors will be treated to refreshments, heavy hors d 'oeuvres, exhibitions and seminars. The Sanctuary is located just down the road from HITS Post Time Farm and all HITS exhibitors are encouraged to see what The Sanctuary has to offer. The facility boasts the most advanced equipment in the world and includes an aqua pacer, water treadmill, cold saltwater leg spa, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, swimming pool, P3 electromagnetic pulse therapy, Pegasus therapy laser zamar, hot/cold therapy, transpirator 2, solarium, 5/8 mile track and 24-hour nursing care.

“It is truly a fantastic facility,” said Lisa Engel, “I have heard many great reviews from HITS customers who have already had the opportunity to use the services at The Sanctuary with amazing results. HITS clients really feel comfortable having their own vet prescribe the therapy treatment and together with the staff at The Sanctuary, they can work toward the same goal.”

For those arriving for the HITS Ocala rated shows, The Sanctuary will be hosting a Welcome Party on Friday, February 7 from 5 pm to 9 pm. For more information, please contact Brenda McDuffee at The Sanctuary at sanctuaryestrc@aol.com.

During the off-week, excitement at The Sanctuary continues. On Saturday, January 31 it will host a special clinic by famous horsemen, including Kyle King. King was victorious in the $25,000 HITS Grand Prix during Ocala Pre-Circuit 1 and won a valuable gift certificate to the facility. For more information on the clinic, please call 352.369.HEAL (4325).

Show jumping at HITS Ocala continues all week with the Ocala Pre-Circuit 2 and will feature a diverse schedule of classes, including the second half of Marshall & Sterling Child/Adult Jumper Championship and the next $25,000 HITS Grand Prix.

Following the Ocala Pre-Circuit 2, the HITS Ocala Winter Circuit will take a one-week break and continue on Tuesday, February 3 with the first of six consecutive AA-rated weeks of competition.

HITS, Inc. is a special events management company primarily focused on producing hunter/jumper horse shows. Based in upstate New York in the village of Saugerties, HITS produced its first horse show circuit in Gainesville, Florida in 1982. Since that time, HITS has grown into a nationwide company with world-class hunter/jumper circuits in California, Florida, Arizona, New York and Virginia.
