SBS Farms Inc.'s Jennifer Alfano Rules the Hunter Ring at HITS Ocala Winter Festival

Ocala, FL - February 18, 2008 - SBS Farms Inc. is based out of Buffalo, NY, and trainers Susie Schoellkopf and Jennifer Alfano had a fantastic week. Alfano, one of the top hunter riders in the nation, started out 2008 by winning three tricolor ribbons in the professional hunter divisions.

Rock Star, owned by Bright Star 158 LLC, was indeed a star in the Regular Working Hunters. He and Alfano won all four over fences classes in the division and were champions.

On Sting, owned by SBS Farms Inc., Alfano finished as the champion in the Green Conformation Hunters after they won two classes. Alfano and Sting also received the reserve championship in the Second Year Green Working Hunters. Sting was first, second, and third in the Second Year division. Alfano won another class in that division with SBS Farms Inc.'s Jersey Boy.

"It was a great start to the year," Alfano stated. "All of the horses went beautifully."

Madison Brayman of Rhode Island was victorious in the Equitation 12-13 division. She won a class and was fourth, fifth, and fifth in the division for the reserve championship. Brayman also competed in the hunter ring. She and Wendy Brayman's Ducks Unlimited had top finishes in the Medium Green Pony Hunters. On Quellie Moorhead's Otteridge Gunsmoke, Brayman had top ribbons in the Large Green Pony Hunters. Brayman and Scandal, owned by Buffalo Therapeutic Riding Center, received ribbons in the Modified Children's/Adult Jumpers.

Greer Hindle of Ann Arbor, MI, were successful in the equitation, finishing third, third, fourth, and fifth in the Equitation 14-15 division. She was third in the National Children's Medal class. She rode her own horse Viper P in the jumper ring and had top ribbons in the Children's Hunter 14 & Under division on Dignitary, owned by Brooke Moore.

Meredith Lipke Bartolone of Buffalo rode Churchill to victory in all three classes of the Equitation 46 & Over division. They were champions, and they also won the USEF Adult Medal and placed in the Amateur-Owner Over 35 Hunters.

SBS Farms Inc. will compete next at the second week of the HITS Ocala Winter Circuit on Feb. 20-24, 2008.
