Spring Break Riding Camp Offered at Pine Ridge Equestrian Center in April

Daily Sessions Feature 5 Hours at West Milford Stable Including Riding Lessons, Grooming, Games & Fun
West Milford, NJ – March 4, 2008– Pine Ridge Equestrian Center (40 Stephens Road, West Milford, NJ – 973-728-0163) will offer riding camp during Spring Break for horse-crazed kids. Each session will offer a full day at the farm and is a wonderful way to a child to expand on their riding and horse knowledge while having fun. The Spring Break Camp, when schools are on vacation in the West Milford area, will take place Monday, April 21 through Friday, April 25 from 9 AM to 2 PM and is open to boys and girls ages 7 and up.
No riding experience is necessary and beginners are welcome. Pine Ridge Equestrian Center offers a variety of well-trained English and Western horses and ponies to match each child’s level of experience. Each day will include learning about stable management, overall horsecare, safety, arts and craft projects, games and a riding lesson and grooming session. Each child is sure to make new friends, build confidence, learn or measurably improve their riding skills and gain a deeper respect and love for animals.
Owner Karen DeMauex will open the doors of the full service equestrian facility to the kids so they may enjoy all that the stable has to offer including the indoor arena, outdoor jumping ring, and a smaller arena. There are also an abundance of trails that can be explored either on foot or on horseback.

The cost for the five-day session is $325 per child with a $25 discount when two or more children enroll together.
