Rising Equestrian Star Georgina Bloomberg Signs With Phelps Media Group

Wellington, Fl – May 18 – The Phelps Media Group (PMG), an equestrian related public relations firm based in Wellington, Florida, today announced the signing of Georgina Bloomberg of New York, NY, to their client roster. Bloomberg, currently competing in Europe with the United States Equestrian Team, was a key member of the Gold Medal Samsung Super League Team at La Baule, France, on May 7, 2005.
Bloomberg, 22, one of America’s fastest rising equestrian stars, has been a consistent national champion since she began riding at the age of four. She was a national champion many times in the mid 1990’s with such famous pony hunters as Jetsetter and Kid You Not and then went on to unprecedented success in the junior hunter divisions with notable horses, Diplomacy and New Hope. Bloomberg was named Grand Champion or Best Child Rider at almost every major competition in America during her stellar junior career.
Bloomberg joined the show jumping ranks in 2001 and hit pay dirt almost immediately with two Gold Medal performances at consecutive North American Young Riders Championships. She was a Team Gold Medalist at Wadsworth, Illinois, in 2002, and then went on to win the Individual Gold Medal at the NAYR Championships in Bromont, Canada, in 2003.
Now part of the big league grand prix tour, Bloomberg has already accumulated fifty two grand prix placings, including three major victories. Bloomberg has been part of the victory gallops at such major show jumping events as the US Open Show Jumping Championships, the AGA National Championship, the Grand Prix of Charlotte, the American Gold Cup, the Prix de Penn National, Lexington CSI-W, New Albany, CSIO Wellington and many more.
World renowned teacher and United States Chef d’ Equipe, George Morris, recently said this of Georgina Bloomberg. “….Georgina absolutely has the potential to be an international star of the highest class. She is a real competitor. She takes great care of the horse; they’re turned out beautifully; she’s turned out beautifully; and if she goes on as she is now, she can be an Olympic medal winner. Bloomberg is one of the youngest riders in history to ever compete at a World Cup Finals and has been a member of four United States Nations Cup Teams in Sweden, Finland, Norway and in France.
