Steffen Peters wins Rolex FEI World Cup™ Dressage Final
Equestrian News Release
Steffen Peters and his 11 year old gelding Ravel offered everything in their test. The choreography of his test was highlighted by symmetry and had very difficult transitions.
Olympic silver medallists Satchmo and Isabell Werth, showed beautiful extensions and half passes.
The black stallion IPS Painted Black looked very rideable and willing and showed by Anky van Grunsven he struck the audience by his lightness and had highlights in his half passes.
From all the other pairs performing, the fantastic piaffes of Pop Art, showed by Canadian Ashley, have to be mentioned. The audience already got wild during his first ride, and so they did again during the Freestyle test to the Pirates of the Caribbean theme with Regardez Moi.
Eight time World Cup finalist Jan Brink and Briar performed their test on the music of ‘My number one’ for the very last time and made a special lap of honor before the American hymn played for Steffen Peters.
