Loxahatchee, FL— Best selling author Tami Hoag will sign autographs at the PhelpsSports.com Palm Beach Dressage Derby CDI-W/CDIY. Hoag will be joined by some of the event’s other top riders, which will likely include Olympic competitors. The signing will take place following the $4,500 Grand Prix Freestyle on Sunday, March 4, 2007. Admission to the Derby is free. Visitors are encouraged to enjoy a day of competition, equestrian-themed shopping and delicious food.
“We are thrilled that Tami Hoag has agreed to do the signing,” said show manager Evelyn O’ Sullivan. “She has competed at the Derby in previous years and we are very grateful that she is supporting us in this way.”
Hoag is the best selling author of such titles as Kill the Messenger, Dust to Dust, and A Thin Dark Line. Among her hits is Dark Horse, a suspense thriller set in the glitzy international equestrian scene. Hoag’s latest bestseller Prior Bad Acts will be released in paperback on February 27.
Hoag not only manages a busy writing career, but has also devoted herself to becoming a serious dressage competitor. She is a United States Dressage Federation (USDF) Gold Medalist and has successfully competed through the highest level of the sport—Grand Prix. This will be her fourth appearance at the Derby as a competitor. She will show Feliki and Coco Chanel in the grand prix. With Feliki Hoag earned the High Point Grand Prix at the 2001 Derby.
