TCA Season Auction to include Bernardini Season

Nov. 24, 2006; A season to potential Horse of the Year Bernardini has been added to the stellar roster of seasons which will be included in the Thoroughbred Charities of America ("TCA") Stallion Season Auction. The auction will begin on November 27 and conclude with a live auction at Keeneland on December 1. The Bernardini season was donated by Darley at
Jonabell.
In addition to Bernardini, the roster of seasons include Unbridled's Song, Bluegrass Cat, Songandaprayer (LF), Awesome Again, Speightstown, Bellamy Road, Vindication, Dynaformer and others. Proceeds of the auction will be distributed to about 150 organizations involved with horse rescue & retraining, backstretch aid including scholarships, therapeutic riding and
equine research.
This is the 17th annual TCA event which raised $1.9 Million last year, making TCA the largest Thoroughbred charity in the country. The event has been held at CandyLand Farm in Delaware for the past 16 years raising a total of over $12 million, 93 cents of every dollar going directly to the charities.
