The Days of '47 Announces The All Horse Parade

SALT LAKE CITY, July 14 /PRNewswire/ -- The Days of '47 All Horse Parade is unique in all the United States as a parade comprised exclusively of horses and horse-drawn vehicles. Horse breeders and riders will assemble for this show in the streets of downtown Salt Lake City on July 16th at 6:00 p.m. Parade patrons can expect to see hundreds of horses of all breeds, sizes, and colors, including Arabians, Fox Trotters, and the popular Paso Finos. In addition to these specialty breeds, expect to see crowd-pleasing favorites such as traditional quarter horses and Tennessee Walkers.
Pre-parade activities and entertainment will take place along 500 West. The "Cold Water Gang" will be around for a Wild West Shootout before, during, and after the parade. Join us for an exciting time for the whole family.
Route begins at 50 North 500 West and goes south to 200 South, then east to Rio Grande Street, the main street through The Gateway, north to 50 North, east to 400 West and north to 200 North (finishing at 200 North 400 West), Salt Lake City. The Days of '47 All Horse Parade is an event for people of all ages. Free admission.
