Premier Issue of Today's ProFarrier Has Hit the Homes of Farriers World-Wide

The premier issue of Today’s ProFarrier, produced by Ink and Anvil, Inc. has hit the homes of farriers world-wide and the subscriptions are pouring in.
Scott Davidson, CEO of Ink and Anvil, Inc. and former publisher of an association magazine for the American Farriers Association® titled, Professional Farrier®, made a decision late last year to publish a farrier trade magazine for a broader spectrum of the equine industry. Davidson comments that “publishing Professional Farrier was a great experience, however, through that experience I became more fully aware of the education farriers (all farriers) are interested in attaining. Obviously, competitions are of interest to many farriers, but not all. We need all types of farriers to push each one of us to bring out our best on each horse we attend; and a new magazine seemed to be a way to share what I call, the love of the trade; from a nasty abscess, to admiring a beautiful shoe and all that’s in between.”
Not only does the staff of Ink and Anvil’s Today’s ProFarrier include top notch, working farriers, but their list of authors reads like a Who’s Who in the Farrier industry, from the many well respected farriers to veterinarians and horse owners. The magazine, carrying an array of equine foot related articles has already brought in subscriptions not only from farriers, but has also peaked the interest of Veterinarians, Horse Owners and Trainers as well. As Davidson says, “it’s time to share knowledge; after all we’re all in it for the horse.”
